Thigh Lift in Canada

A Thigh Lift is a procedure done to remove both excess skin and fat around the thighs or to tighten extra skin on the thighs. Commonly an incision is made in the crease between the thigh and the pelvis and from this incision extra skin and fat are pulled upwards. The extra skin and fat can then be removed and the remainder closed, leaving a much tighter looking more youthful upper leg.

Surgery is usually done on an outpatient basis. You will feel discomfort, but any pain can be controlled with medication. You can expect your thigh and genital area to be bruised, swollen and ache, and this can last for a month.

The results of a thigh lift are instantaneous but the final result will not be seen until swelling has reduced. Your surgeon will give you specific recovery instructions but usually you will be asked to rest for the first 2 weeks. You will probably be instructed not to participate in strenuous activities for 3 – 4 weeks.
